Walt Disney World Railroad stops

The Unofficial Guide mentions (in one of it's tour plans) to disembark at the first Toontown station stop and then, walk through Toontown to Tomorrowland. We aren't planning to make any stops in Toontown - is that still the best stop at which to embark if we're going directly to Tomorrowland?

Yes if you are taking the train you will come out from the path right at Autopia and SM

It depends on where you are coming from. If you are entering MK do not get on the train just walk to Tomorrowland. Go down Main Street and take a right. If you get on the train at the front of the park it will first take you to Frontierland, and then to Toontown. Therfore, if you are coming from Frontierland your plan would work. For example, if you wanted to ride Space Mountain after riding Splash Mountain.

Thanks for the replies! I'm still confused about one thing however. When the Unofficial Guide says to get off on the FIRST Toontown stop is that strictly so that you can take in the Toontown attractions? Where does the SECOND Toontown stop drop you off? Is that closer to Tomorrowland if you're not planning on doing anything in Toontown?

Click on this link .TT to SM PATH

In the bottom right corner is ToonTown .
The blue and yellow is the Train station (only 1 for TT) walk along th path next to the track and you get to SM thats up in the upper left
