Walt Disney World in September?

Anyone going to Disney World in September? We are going to be there September 2nd through the 7th.

Nope, nobody at all is going to Disney World that whole month. You'll have the parks to yourself, woohooo!!
I am of course just kidding. It's just the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the question. In all seriousness, the crowds should be pretty low (except at TS restaurants due to free dining), you picked a GREAT time to visit!

So will we, those are our same dates! We went the same week last year (Sept. 1-10) and it was amazing. The lowest crowds in all of my last 5 visits. Where are you staying? We were booked at ASMu and then got upgraded to SSR - can't wait!!

That's exactly why were going lyzziesmom. I thought that joke was very funny, lol. We try to stay away from some particular TS meals like Liberty Tree, and Tomorrowland Cafe because they are always packed. The food is great everywhere so we love it! We have had our trip shortened a wee bit though from Aug 2nd-5th instead of to the 7th but it's no big deal that is plenty of time.

Wow -- this is a thread from last year, asking about September 2007. But since we're here... I did go in September of 2007 (and 2006 and 2005) and am going again in September this year! Our longest trip yet, 12 days!! Can you tell we think it's a great time of year?

Sooo, let me ask you folks who had been in WDW in September, '*** this September,2010 I'm goingo to visit WDW - whole 3 weeks!- for the very first time in my life with my fiancèe (we're just got engaged, so it will be a sort of celebration):
- how's the weather?
- no huge freaking storms or tornados?
- was warmer enough to went to the water parks?
- was it really 'less' crowned?
- how much time did you spend on the lines, in the average?
