My DH has asked me what I would like for Christmas and I was thinking I might like a biography of Walt. Does anyone have any recommendations? What other books would be top of everyone's list (not necessarily related to DLP)?

I have this book, which I am really looking forward to reading. :goodvibes

Ooooh thanks Tia, Can you tell me who the author is or where it was purchased? Thanks :goodvibes

It's by Bob Thomas...... I bought it in the States. I haven't seen it anywhere in the UK. You're welcome to borrow it once I've read it. :goodvibes

Thanks Tia, you are so kind  I actually checked amazon.co.uk and it gets EXCELLENT reviews but they only have it in paperback. I really would have liked it is hardback. Which is yours?

Ohh so now paperback is not good enough for you!! Honestly Nicola, since you stayed in DLH you've changed :rotfl2: Mine's paperback!! :rotfl2:

You really are too funny :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I know that one week stay in the pink palace has changed my whole outlook in life. I only accept the best of quality now. No more Tesco turkeys this Christmas, only Marks and Spencers will do!! ;) :teeth:

By the way Tia, I notice you've only got 10 days to go. You must be getting soooo excited. Hope you have your thermals packed, ski mitts (normal ones will not be warm enough) and really warm wool socks. Also we took the hand warmers which we bought in Millets outdoors shop which we used every day. You will have a GREAT time if you cover your entire body in several layers :cold: I can't wait to see your pics of SL. It looks gorgeous all done up for Christmas :cloud9:

Great looking book Tia.
I'm the opposite Nicola, I don't like hardback books at all. First think I do is put the dust cover into recycling since they get in the way :) Much prefer paper or soft back books.

I've got this in paperback. It is quite nice paper, not really cheap stuff like some books are. It's a very good book too, with lots of lovely photos.
