There are great deals to be made at Walmart this week!

I'm currently typing this message on my new All-In-One MSI computer (with a 20in touch screen!) that I got for 498$ plus tax this morning. Quite the deal!:cool1:

I didn't need one (kids are all equipped by now...) but the 109$ DSi is also a great sale :thumbsup2

And no, I don't work for Walmart or MSI... :rotfl2: Just wanted to share my great finds

Up was there today. Stocked up on shampoo, deodrant, razors, dove soap.

Love when they have the anniversay sale!!! Look forward to every year.

Picked up two $109 DSi yesterday morning at 7am ... waited for Walmart to open and snagged them. Excellent value, saving them for Christmas!

We don't get the ads, so DSis told me about this last night. Dropped in at 8:00 this morning and spent well over $200. One larger gift, several smaller things for Christmas and lots of groceries. Will send DH there again tonight. I have my cheese and crackers for Thanksgiving bought, and orange juice, too.

Spent too much today lol. Got the 38 dollar printer so dh and I can use it for our laptops. That way we we dont have to keep going to the office to print stuff and the kids can't use all our ink...great deals!!

snagged the flip over car for ds, who's wanted it forever. it'll be his santa gift this year.

not as much as there used to be in there....remember when they used to offer the sweet snack packs of chocolates for 50 cents...man that wasn't that long ago was it? lol

i used to work there and remember when the ad broke in october....it's been getting earlier and earlier every year. i was dept. head of hba 2 yrs during the flyer break and it was horrific! the toothpaste was always gone by day one. a lot of stuff was special purchase, and still is. meaning it comes special packaged from the different vendors. we can't get it back in most times and a lot of the newer courtesey desk staff would issue rain checks- even tho i believe it still says on the back, no rainchecks on anniversay items. i'd go in on a monday after the flyer broke on friday and have a huge pile of rainchecks and often times have very angry customers....gotta say i like being on the buying end these days and not the selling end. lol thanks for letting me vent guys!

Would love the DSI for my son.
Unfortunatly, they sold out before the sale began/before 8am.
IN 8 different stores in my area!!! That's Mississauga to Cambridge.
@##@%&* is all I can say. It only applies to the white one, by the way.

Gee I wish you didn't tell me about the DSis. I'm probably too late now, but will be monitoring for that $109 price.

Check out Best Buy. Last year, I missed the DS that I wanted, but Best Buy was (unadertised) price matching-both online and in store.

They only price match if the item is in stock at the atvertised store. Of course I get the person that actually calls the local store to make sure they have stock and then wouldn't price match.

Try Zellers. I've never had them call in all my pre-Christmas shopping over the years.

Just a heads up on the DSI we got two today and there was a bit of a screw up on their pricing you could also get any coloured one for 109.00 so we got a blue for my great nephew in New Zealand and we got one for DS6 from Santa in black...... they did not have a sign up stating it but hubby went to ask if they had any white ones out back, which they didn't then a staff let it slip that the coloured ones were also 109 but they were not allowed to announce it.....that was here in Edmonton....
Hoping it helps someone out!!!:goodvibes

They have secret deo for 1.89 (limit 6)

Brandsaver coupons just came out last week, they have a coupon for buy 3 this that and the other thing ( one of which is secret deo) and save $9

Although there are a few other coupons that would also work, and give you free deoderant, this one is the best deal. And the reason is, Walmart now takes off the full coupon amount even if the product is less. So when I bought 6 secret yesturday, not only were they free, I got nearly 6 off my other items.

Note - they will not give you change, so make sure you are buying at least $6 worth of other things.

There is also buy 2 old spice products save $3 and the oldspice is also 1.89, so its not free but it is darn cheap ( note the really tall size is also that price)

Every bit counts!

This sort of thing is extremely common in the United States. The Sunday papers come with huge coupon books and if you don't care what you're buying, it's possible to eat VERY cheaply. Whereas coupons in Canada haven't really caught on to anywhere near the same level. I manage the dairy and frozen departments of a grocery store and it amazes me how books of coupons last less than five minutes on the shelf...and yet studies have shown up to 80% of these coupons are never redeemed.

I made my husband stop on his way to work at 7 am on Friday to get a DSi for DD. They only had 6 left when he was in.
So glad I made him go.

Oh that stinks....like I said they weren't announcing it..but ppl that took them up to the counter or ppl like hubby that asked were told....I wonder if they got it starightenedout then???might go back and see what happens..will let everyone know later....
