WalMart???

I paid $2.53 for GV brand here in NW PA. I believe milk is regulated in this area so almost all milk is close in price, a few cents, one way or the other.
Personally, I never touch the stuff. =0)

Milk prices are controled by the state here in PA. Most stores sell at the "state minimum". I've never paid attention to milk prices, unless the price increase was so large it made a story on the evening news. Even so, I couldn't tell you how much milk costs.

Yes right now the milk industry is charging more due to some stupid reason...

I am a walmart shopper and was a little miffed when the week AFTER christmas the milk prices went from 1.88 to 2.18....thats the wic milk ( the good stuff) we got hooked on when my son was still hibernatin....if you want the milk thats good enough to think your getting drunk its at braums country stores and its 3.89...but it was also in a cow within the last week.....(that means fresh.....)

In oklahoma you can go to target...but you cant afford it. they have no foothold here... and as for kmart....they were so trashy they only have 2 known stores left, shawnee and clinton. and those are the 2 stores that made it through the 1980's bankruptcies....

you go to walmart or you have a good job......

Supposedly that's what Wal-Mart did in our area during Christmas. People are saying that they cut toy prices so low that they didn't even make money on them and that they did this to lure shoppers into the stores hoping that they'd buy other items. It is said to have really hurt the toy stores.

mrsv98 -- Your comment about going through a "couple gallons" a week made me LOL. I have three boys, two of them teens. When the oldest is home from college I go through a couple gallons in exactly two days, so seven gallons a week!

Wal-mart buggs me. I saw these cute little button makers for my kids for Christmas in October. Made a mental note to get them a few weeks later. Knew the price was 9.99 went back and saw the price was now 12.99 !! I dug threw the stack and found a few at the bottom still priced 9.99 !!!

At the reg they rang up as 12.99 told the clerk that the price was 9.99 !!

Another time our Wal-Mart was out of flags days after 9/11 The store Mge went to another discount store paid 1.99 for ALL of their flags and turned around and sold them for over 10. dollars !!!

it was a big news story and Wal-Mart had gto put up signs in the store to tell people they over charged for flags and you could get a refund.

The place is handy, I use it but I keep an eye out for price changes for the higher !!

Yes, I went to the Costco on Wendover. I love it. Membership is more expensive than Sam's , it was $45. My kids hated Sam's so it was always a big pain going there, but for some reason they lide Costco - I think they give more samples too:p
Haven't been to the Cutting Board in a while, you've put the taste in my mouth now, maybe I'll go tonight.

Well my college is in the middle of nowhere and EVERYONE goes to the super walmart for EVERYTHING.
We wouldn't be able to have a school without the walmart because there is such a need for it.
Every college I visited had a super walmart within minutes of it.
