hey guys. I've just had an email from walmart telling me to fill in a form to get my money back from items that cannot be delivered... this is all very well but I live in the UK and have never shopped in a walmart in all my life! is this a scam that the whole of America knows about? I can't believe it's got to me in the UK!

Hi Laura!

I can't say this is one I've heard of, but yes, it is definitely a scam. Even if you were in America and HAD ever purchased something from Wallyworld, and even if that item COULDN'T be delivered, they wouldn't ask you to fill out a form.
If you're feeling kind and generous, you could look on Walmart's website to get their customer service address and forward them the email, just so they know... but in any case, obviously don't respond to it.
While it's tempting to send back "I'm sorry, you have the wrong address, my cousin the Nigerian prince is the one who placed that order!" If you do that, they will know it is a legitimate email address and keep spamming you.

Best, ~Z~

I plan on forwarding the email later on tonight! it's a good job I'm savvy!
