So I'm thinking that rather than trying to get all of our snacks and milk, etc together before we drive down (from the Bay Area), it might just be easier to hit WalMart on our way down. It looks like there is one a couple of exits North of the park?
440 N. Elucid St?
Anybody been to this one? Do they have a decent grocery center? I'd like to be able to get some fresh produce along with a few other things.

Thanks!

I was also wondering about this Walmart. Do they have any souvenir stuff, t-shirts, etc.? We went to a Walmart near Disney World and it had a ton of cheap Disney Parks type stuff. Thanks!!!

I googled that Walmart also and it says that it's a Supercenter so they're open 24/7 and sell groceries. Plus I called them. (I'm very thorough. LOL) The lady I spoke with said they have the largest Disney section. I kinda would expect them to since they're so close to DL.

Awesome! Thanks for being so thorough! I was wondering about the DL stuff too!

When you called did they say it was a super center? I'm asking because when I was there it certainly was not. It may of been ungraded.

FWIF the seven eleven at harbor and katella has apples, oranges, and bananas. Also milk, cereal, bread, PB and Jelly.

Yeah. I asked the lady and she said they're like a mini one...not as huge as other Supercenters. And I think only Supercenters are open 24hrs. She said they have fresh produce, meats, etc. I've never been there so I duno what to expect in terms of the store's appearance, cleanliness, etc. But it's a Walmart so I'm not expecting it to look posh.

And also, if you have a membership, there's also a Costco closeby. And a Target on Euclid. Here's some contact info if anyone needs them:

I agree. When we went 2 years ago there was minimal grocery items, no fresh produce etc. and it was a DUMP.:scared1:

The grocery stores in the area are: Ralph's (a Kroger company), Albertson's, Vons, Food for Less, Henry's Farmers Market, Costco. We usually find one on our way in, then jump back on the freeway, if we don't want to drive over to Euclid and Chapman to Ralph's or the other one on Ball (I think it is).

We prefer this Target - it's at the same exit as Walmart, just turn right instead of left and you can't miss it. (Right if you're heading southbound on the I-5 as is the OP.) It does have a small grocery section including produce. Honestly I haven't tuned into whether it has a good selection of Disney stuff. It does have a "travel size" toiletry section.

We drive past Wal-Mart on the way, we've never stopped tho, we just go to Target down on Harbor in Garden Grove. It's about a 10 min drive so it's very convienent, it's close, it's clean and it does have a smaller grocery area. For us tho that's all that's needed, we grab waters and snacks but that's about it. In fact I usually already have all that ready to go but when we've run out that's where we've gone. :)

Went to the Euclid Walmart a few months ago. It was pretty big...decent selection of frozen foods and some foods. Can't remember if they had produce but definitely had milk, juice, etc.

They also had a huge selection of Disney apparel, hats, caps, bags, backpacks, lanyards, keychains...I think there's an entire section (not just an aisle). It was pretty great. The prices here are a little higher than Walmarts in other areas for Disney stuff though (I thought).

I just moved back from down there and that walmart has a large selection of disney stuff but I wouldn't say the /largest/ down there. Target is better for snacks and is on the same street-just a smidge closer to DLR. however, you will wait in huge lines at walmart and its kinda dirty grotey.
