Walmart

Please could someone tell me where is the nearest Walmart to Universal Studios, and similarly, the nearest one to Disney, with some directions? I am hoping to get a Halloween costume there, and don't know where we'll fit it into our itinerary, so not sure whether we'll be at Universal or Disney.

Can't help with the nearest to Universal but the nearest one to Disney is on the 535, almost opposite but just a but further down from lake buena vista factory stores. So, if you're coming from downtown disney it's around 3 miles from the junction with the 535, if you're heading up the 536 (from which most of the Disney resorts are) turn right onto the 535 and it's about 1.5 miles along on the right.

There are two fairly close to Universal; one about 3 miles north on Kirkman Road, and the other (as mentioned) on Sand Lake Road at the junction with John Young Parkway.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but just like ArielJasmine we have never been to Walmart. We've usually just gone to Goodings at Crossroads for some 'in the room' essentials but we'd like to go to Walmart. So... my question is... do we turn left or right to get to Walmart when we exit onto the 535 from Hotel Plaza Blvd? Also, roughly how far is it from there and is it easily spotted as we will probably be driving in the dark when we first go there?

You turn right onto 535 from Hotel Plaza Blvd. Go under the I4 and along the 535 - over the 536 and past the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. The turning for Walmart is on the right hand side just after the LBV factory stores (opposite side), there's a petrol station (Hess?) just before the turning. It's about 3 miles from the turning onto the 535 (i.e. from the Crossroads shopping centre).

Is the one by LBV a supercentre? We are staying under Disney on Indian Creek but need to establish where is the nearest store to there for the first day food and BEER shop. Never stayed down here last year and a little bothered not knowing where things are.

Another way to get there is to go down the 192 and turn left at the RV centre, follow the road down to the end and walmart is on the left hand side
