Walmart was so disorganized it was unbelievable!UPDATE PAGE 4! I'm torn!

Personally, I'd take it. Great deal - and no assembly!!!

Have you looked at walmart.com for the hotwheels one? As of a few days ago it was there for $88 (I haven't checked recently)

That's what I think, I am just a little apprehensive cause I don't know how long it's been sitting there. KWIM?

I have been checking it always says sold out for me, I had been doing it daily since BF.

ETA and I just looked and it doesn't even come up anymore?

I wouldn't hesitate to go with the deal *except* for one thing; can your kids tell that one is better than the other and will this cause chaos in your house? If not, go for it.

I don't think so! Currently we only have one quad and there is chaos cause of the sharing. I think they will just be happy they don't have to share.

I used to be very worried over display models. However, I could only find my navy dryer as a display model for 50% off. I know that it had been sitting in the warehouse for over a year. It works great. The store agreed to give me the same warranty as if it was not a display model. I saved $600.00 by buying it. I've purchased other smaller items and have not had any problems with them. If I had the choice I would take the better display model over the new in the box vehicle.

We bought a display model TV several years ago and it still works great, and although we remembered to make sure it had a remote with it, we forgot to make sure it had all the paperwork (manuals, etc.) that it should have, and boy, have we wished for the manual a few times. This was before almost everything became available online, though, so things may be easier now. So my advice would be to make sure you get all the paperwork a new one would have.

Thanks that makes me feel better!:thumbsup2

I personally wouldn't mind it being a display because if anything happens to it Walmart (at least ours) is known for taking back items that don't work and exchanging them with the same item. So if your F150 quit working you could bring it back even without a reciept and exchange it since it is kept in stock unlike the $88 one that they do not keep in stock. When I worked there years ago you wouldn't believe the items we took back :scared1:
