Walmart THIS Friday - Black Friday sales price match

Wenrob, when I went on Walmart.com this morning, there was a link for a pre Black Friday ad and I clicked on that. I didn't see either of those but I may have missed them.

I can't get the link to the actual ad to work. Anyone else having problems viewing it? Maybe it's an issue with my work computer.

I have a lot of issues with links on the DIS, usually from my iPad. I think it has to do with the way they're posted and settings on the devices. I have yet to figure it out though. Anyway, I did manage to get the link posted here to work.

I was going to try to post a new link for you but I can't get the Pre Black Friday Ad to come up at all now.

I bought it from Amazon this morning for $54.99. I can't go out on Thanksgiving, it's just not right .

Thanks for posting! On black Friday, their RCA 7" tablets are going to be 29, and today they are 39. Regular 69. So I went ahead and got the 2 I needed. I figure if a better deal comes up (online, as I do NOT do in person black Friday lol) then I can always return these to Walmart later!!

Husband arrived at our Walmart about 7:45 am and they had starting selling TV's early and were all gone when he got there. He thinks he probably needed to be there at 6 am to get one. Not really different than Black Friday I guess.

I just got back from Walmart and of course they didn't have any of the 40" tvs left, but the customer service rep said it is a week long deal and they are on order to get some more (I would expect they would still need a bunch for next Friday). So she said to call every day to see if they got the received the shipment.

So here's my experience:
Go in, ask about iPads and iPhone.
Electronics: Oh no, that's Black Friday only.
Me: *produces ad* This is your PRE Black Friday sale.
Clerk: Oh no, that's online only.
Me: When you get the email for the ad it states, "in stores only."
Clerk: That's for Black Friday
Me: Shows ad again, it's the PRE Black Friday ad, right here.

A manager came and pretty much said, well they say... And, you're right it doesn't say it's online only...

Oy, this is why I don't shop these sales at Walmart. I'm pretty sure they didn't even know they had a sale going on. I did find an Xbox 360 Trap Team for the $37 price so it wasn't a total bust.

Am I missing "online only?" I looked it over a million times.

DH went to Wal-Mart midmorning and said it was not busy. They didn't even have any of the ipads in the ad out. They went to the back and got one and sold it to him for the price on the website pre-black Friday ad. No hassles at all.

WalMart wasn't crowded at all this morning, but there was a short line in electronics. I wasn't going for that so no big deal. But I did get the Keurig with $25 gift card -- except the register charged me for the gift card. Pointed out the total seemed high, but they said it was just tax. I knew that wasn't right, but took the receipt to check it over. Of course I was right. They still didn't believe me when I computed it on their calculator -- twice! With persistence they finally saw that I was right, but of course no apology for ignoring me. After 15 minutes, finally got a second gift card for free to pay for the $25 I was overcharged. Ugh!

Anyway, moral of the story is to check your receipt if you got the Keurig deal today. I don't know if the coding error was in their national database or if this was only my local store.

I may try another Walmart tomorrow. This particular one always has issues in electronics and their advertised sale prices. I just honestly don't know if it's worth the hassle when I know I'll have a chance to get that price or close to it in the coming weeks.
