Walmart THIS Friday - Black Friday sales price match

WalMart wasn't crowded at all this morning, but there was a short line in electronics. I wasn't going for that so no big deal. But I did get the Keurig with $25 gift card -- except the register charged me for the gift card. Pointed out the total seemed high, but they said it was just tax. I knew that wasn't right, but took the receipt to check it over. Of course I was right. They still didn't believe me when I computed it on their calculator -- twice! With persistence they finally saw that I was right, but of course no apology for ignoring me. After 15 minutes, finally got a second gift card for free to pay for the $25 I was overcharged. Ugh!

Anyway, moral of the story is to check your receipt if you got the Keurig deal today. I don't know if the coding error was in their national database or if this was only my local store.

I wanted one of the Keurig for ddil for Christmas. I was going to wait and get it at Target on Black Friday, but went ahead and just got it online today. I hope they remember to send the gift card.

How long is this sale going on? I know our store only got 8 of the $115 tvs. I was wondering if any more would be coming in.

Did you get charged for the gift card? I got the gift card, but they also charged me for it. I hope it all works out for you and that it was just my store.

Since I know I will not brave the BF crowds, went to Walmart today (noon) and purchased the following;
Skylanders Trap Team: $37(preBF sale)
Disney Infinity 2.0: $54.99 (amazon price match)
Disney 2.0 Ultimate spiderman figures and guardians of the galaxy sets $24.99 each (gamestop price match)
Thank for everyones posts:)

I just got an email that the $115 tv that I ordered this morning for in store pick-up was cancelled. I searched for a store with stock when I placed the order. It doesn't seem fair that they would cancel the order on the first day of a multi-day sale.

Very disappointed. Went into Walmart to get iphone upgrades for my girls and was told that Walmart no longer carries Sprint phones. I checked online and it said that there were no stores in the area that have Sprint phones available. Flyer clearly indicates Sprint is an included carrier, but I am so fed up with Walmart that it doesn't even matter. Looks like I won't be able to surprise my girls with upgrades after all.

Is Target price matching the pre- Black Friday ad? Do they even still price match?

I price matched the Skylanders Trap Team this morning at Target. $37, plus the 10% off on all video games from the toy catalog, plus my 5% for red card. (I think the lady behind the counter was mad by the time I got done with my shopping. I also price matched the Baymax from the Toys R Us ad.)

I hate when the person behind the counter acts like I'm stealing from them. Usually the people at target give me praises for my awesome bargain skills.:rotfl:

I just bought 3 video games at Target using a price match from Walmart.com and saved $70! I got Madden NFL 15 for PS4 for $29.99 (reg $59.99) Lego Marvel Super Heroes for Xbox One for $19.99 (reg $29.99) and Lego Movie for Xbox One for $29.77 (reg $59.99). Woo hoo! My nephews are going to be super excited!!

As the price matching season has begun, I want to remind everyone to know the store's official policy before trying to price match. I just had a manager at Target tell me that they now only allow 1 price match per day. The guest services cashier, the guy behind me (who was also price matching), and I were all shocked. She said they had changed it this year so that no single person could wipe out the stock of an item. That made me think that she was mistaken about the policy since she said it prohibited price matching multiple different items (which is what I was doing). She was willing to let me do it since the cashier had already started ringing them up and told me I could do it. Sure enough, I came home and checked their holiday price match policy and it merely limits price matching to 1 of the same item per person. https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/holiday-price-match Luckily she let me price match all 3 games, but she would've lost the business to Walmart by not knowing her own store's policies. In the future, I will be sure to have the store's policy printed or saved on my phone if I price match again this season. I'm not one who cause a big scene, but I wouldn't hesitate to politely show them their own store's policy.

Walmart did the same thing for an item that I ordered online with store pick up. I think it is a flaw in their system. I hope they get it worked out. I could have gone searching for a Walmart store with availability but I was confident that I had ordered, paid for and received a a confirmation number for the item that I could pick up within four hours.
