Walmart - site to store

I wondered if any Brits had used the Walmart 'site to store' option on the Walmart website? You order and pay for the items and then have them delivered to a store to collect. I wondered if this would work if you timed it right when you are on holiday or whether you need to have a US mailing address?

I did it in november as I wanted a twin buggy it was very easy ordered it got a reference number about 3 days later I got an email that it was in the store It said when I ordered it would take 10 working days so that was quick. You collect it from layaway at the back of the store just bring ID and the Reference number. Also to add you can trace the package so you know when it will roughly get into the store

I just did a dummy booking for a $54 TomTom, got to payment page, would not accept UK credit card address but would accept Paypal.

I just looked up my paypal That is how I payed for it my brain has not worked the same since I got pregnant forgetting everything lol

Sorry Can't remember what address I used but if it was a USA one I just used the address of the villa I was staying in Used my Irish credit card

Thats what I do if a site won't accept Paypal, I either use a friends US address or hotel address. In UK credit cards cannot be accepted without correct billing address, in US the system seems less secure, last week I used mine using a friends US address no problem.

Just seen you replied again, you used Paypal, thats the easiest option.

Yes, I've done it before using Paypal.

Book it in advance, so you know it will be at the store when you need it, i believe the stores keeps it for either 7 or 14 days [can't remember], before then they return it back to the depo and you get refunded for it
