Walmart question

We are due to visit Walmart on the day after our arrival for a "big shop". I have a couple of questions about the stores if anyone can help.

1) I read there is a new store about 1 mile nth on the 27 from it's junction with the 192, i cannot find this on the Walmart site. Is this correct?

2) We want to get 2 DS Lites but specifically the pink ones that have been released in the US. Has anyone contacted a particular store to ensure they have sufficient stock of an item and perhaps asked them to put them to one side. I dont want to go there and find they have nothing left in-store and then be too late when we return to the UK as they have sold out here.

( i was intending for this to be just a DS question hence the post in community then though of the location question)

How do you get US electrical products to work in the UK, with the different voltage etc? I know you can use a travel plug adaptor (although they are for "occasional use") but the voltage thing does worry me

I think it depends on the voltage variation a product can handle. I wouldnt mind someone confirming to me that they simply bought a UK charger to work with the DS rather than a stepdown version that would downrate the 240 to 110.

Can't help with question 2 but can confirm there is a new Walmart just north on the 27 we were there a few weeks ago!

you can buy a transformer in walmart

why not email the store to see if there in stock. the store is just off the 27 going towards glenbrook villas/clearcreek villas

We visited this Wal*Mart last year. It was nice and new and we liked it - remember they had a lovely selection of donuts!!!!!!

could you not get them shipped to your hotel or villa so they would be there when you arrive

Rob, did you manage to find out whether they will keep them aside for you? if you just turn up and ask for a product at any walmart and they don't have it in stock, they will phone around all the other walmarts that you can get to,to check if they have it in.

I cant find the option to e-mail the store so i will probably ring them a couple of days before we go. I am bit reluctant to order online and have them delivered to the villa because it is hard enough getting things out of couriers in this country, wouldnt like to find and visit a courier depot on holiday.
