Walmart & Mypoints ??

Ok mypoints is now offering 500 pts for a $25 purchase at walmart. Does anyone know if I can purchase a gift card for $25 and it count for the points?

We spend 1/2 our money in Walmart, so why not earn points for it? lol

I did this on 10/31 and have not received any points yet. I will wait until past the 30 day mark then e-mail them.

How long has it taken people who placed a merchandise order to receive points for Walmart?

I know on a couple of sites that sell gift certificates a screen pops up before you are directed to the actual site that states points will not be earned for gc's, but i do not recall walmart being one of them. good luck

Hi,
I also took them up on their offer in Oct (10/24 to be exact). It took two emails but I finally got a response this morning that says my account has been credited and that the points wil show up within 5 days.

They should have been credited within 15 business days of your purchase. Given that ost business and banks still consider weekends to be non-business days wven though they remain open for business, you should see credit by tomorrow. If not, I would start emailing them. It appears that the tracking for this offer has not been very good.

I placed my order on 10/28 and no points yet. I am sending them an e-mail to see whats up.

I ordered a WM gift certificate via the mypoints email offer. The email offer made no mention of not being able to order a GC. I only ordered last week. I got the WM GC after only 4 days (ordered on 11/14 and received on 11/18)! After the 15 days which the email stated it would take to credit my account, I will email mypoints for a credit of the points earned if they have not been posted.
