They are going to replace the price tags on the shelves with digital pricing. It will take some time, but it's coming in the next few years. They will be able to change the pricing whenever they like. Most other stores will be doing the same.Could you explain more ?

It would probably be illegal in most states especially since prices are now posted online. Book mark this thread. If they do, I'll buy you a gallon of milk.Of course they won't. Lol!!!!!
So you never want them to offer any sales again?Walmart dynamic pricing is coming. I called it. Seen a video on You Tube about it. Corporate greed at its finest.
They are not going to offer sales to anyone without an expense to others. Get real.So you never want them to offer any sales again?
OK. I think it will take a few years to happen. I surely hope it doesn't, but this company is now charging customers in some markets to use the self check outs.It would probably be illegal in most states especially since prices are now posted online. Book mark this thread. If they do, I'll buy you a gallon of milk.
How are sales any different than dynamic pricing? They are not going to offer sales to anyone without an expense to others. Get real.
Well, they have a time limit in common, but not on a hourly basis, right? They were talking about once a certain item was half way bought up, they could go in and raise the price immediately on what was left on the shelf. Think cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving maybe? How are sales any different than dynamic pricing?

Exactly! So what happens if you put the milk in your cart at the $2 price, shop a bit, then it’s $3 at checkout??
Doesn’t seem right to me.
And that's why it would be nearly impossible to implement. And there is a little thing called competition that will keep such nonsense in check. So what happens if you put the milk in your cart at the $2 price, shop a bit, then it’s $3 at checkout??
