Walmart code for Alamo changed??

Just went to do my daily price check on Alamo and noticed that the Walmart code (430710) is not giving the additional discount like it has in the past. I used the code along with the $25 e-coupon, but in the final quote, it only shows the coupon and no added discount for the code.

Has anyone else seen this? Or is it maybe just a glitch in their system tonight?

I made a reservation tonight at Alamo using the Wal-Mart code and it gave me a 10% discount and also had the free additional driver. I reserved a mid-size from Jan 25- Feb 1 and used the Entertainment book coupon for a free day (but I entered the Wal-Mart code instead of the Entertainment code so I could get the free additional driver). My total for 7 days came to $99.12!

If I were you, I would try it again...it was probably a glitch!

Thats kind of weird. I was using 1/25-2/2 for my dates and it was not showing the additional 10%. When I changed my return date to 2/1, it gave me the 10%.

I'll have to play with this a bit...

I just checked our upcoming reservation dates for January (21st to 29th) and got the same thing as you - it only gives the $25 discount ...

Same for me, I was trying to save a few more dollars and the weekly rate is more. I have 7 days intermediate booked at $82.22, but the same codes now give me $113.20!

I booked my rental on 11/5 using WalMart code 430710 and Entertain Book coupon AD3469FJD. Got a mini van for 4/17-4/25 for est. total of $378.93. The confirmation shows the $25 discount and the WalMart discount at $36.74.

I have been checking for a few days to see if the base has gone down (it has gone up from $314.89 to $413.51). I put in the same codes as before and it shows the $25 for the coupon but no discount for the WalMart code. I guess I am glad I already booked. Hoping it is just a glitch.

Me too. My quote went down a few more dollars. Not as low as it would have been if the glitch didn't pop up before, but what the heck, a few dollars is a few dollars...
