Wally Boag RIP

Don't know if it has been reported elsewhere here and I missed it, but Wally Boag passed away today at age 91.

That is so sad! What an amazing man he was, a true Disney legend. You will be forever missed Wally! Rest in peace and have fun up there with Walt!

How sad. I was fortunate enough to get his book autographed when a group of DisBoarders went and visited him at his home a couple years ago. I absolutely love watching the videos of his show at the Golden Horseshoe. He was a true Disney treasure.

Oh wow . For some reason, I was thinking he had passed prior, but maybe I was just thinking of him being ill? I also was fortunate enough to receive one of his books through the Dis group here. If I remember right, they had said he seemed so happy with his books that day . Prayers to their family...

It is a very sad day for this world that he has passed on, but I know that now he is hanging out with Walt and all his old friends and making them laugh with his incredible antics. A friend of mine went with the group of DISers who visited him a few years ago, and I know how much that visit meant to him.

He was the essence of comedy and joyful performance. Farewell, Wally!

Wow, this is so sad. Nunzia, thank you for posting this. He was one of the legends that I wish I had seen but alas I'm too young. What a very talented performer and according to a biography that I am reading of Mr. Disney, he was much loved by Walt. I didn't know that he was voice of Jose in the Enchanted Tiki Room: another thing to make me smile when I am in that beloved room.
