Wallet vs "Special Holder" for Resort ID and Park Tickets

Since this is my families first trip to WDW, I was wondering if anyone had come up with any easy all-inclusive tote to keep Resort IDs, Park Admission tickets, FastPasses and such together for the entire family? I am not sure if my DH's wallet is the way to go or if someone out there has a better solution.

We use DH's wallet.

He empties it of everything he does not need before we leave for FL.

Then he only takes what we need each day to the park in his wallet. He puts the rest in the hotel safe.

It has a zip-close plastic ID holder attached so everything is right around my neck. WalMart had them in their Jewelry Dept. last year for $.97. Also you can get something similar at Staples or Office Depot.

HTH!!! :smooth:

We bought the "conference ID holder" things at Office Depot and we loved them. There is a clear plastic pocket in front, a middle pocket behind the clear one, and a little zip pocket in the back. The string has a sliding piece to make it shorter or longer. DS8 kept his park pass, hotel key, Fast Passes, and pressed pennies in his. Nobody lost anything - it was very convenient. I think they were $4 each but we can use them over and over so it was worth it! :)

I have used the "PassPorter PassHolder Pouch" several times and it works great! It has penholders on the back for autograph pens and a clear plastic section on the front that I use for fast passes so I can see the return time without removing the fast pass. The flap opens to reveal a zippered pouch and a non-zippered pouch. It's a bit more pricey but the website offers some discounts.

The webpage for this is:

BTW - The Passporter Guide is also a great way to hold all your trip information together in one place before and during your trip.

(No relationship to the company, but I do like their products!)

Thank you for the website - it looks great and just what I was hoping for. I think this will make things so much easier.

I have a small waist pack with a front zippered pocket perfect for keeping:

a little cash
a credit card or two
hotel key cards
park tickets
and fastpasses.

All of those things, for all of my party, are always there. (I am almost always the FASTPASS volunteer...)

We use small single fold buxton credit card wallets. I call them our Disney Pacs and they hold our annual passes, room keys and I put my drivers license and a credit card in it also. It helps protect the passes and its easy to find and keep track of. I hate carrying my wallet because it holds alot of extra credit cards, membership cards and other stuff that I just don't need.

We had these same holders and love them. I got so used to wearing it that once I came home I kept using it since I do not carry a purse. It's very hands free when lugging small children through the grocery store. VERY convenient! I bought a Mickey one while we were there and it's what I use at home, at WDW I use the office depot one.

Thank you all for these ideas. I've been trying to think of way to travel light - and these suggestions do the trick. :cool1:

We forgot our cheapies, and ended up buying a lanyard for pins that had a plastic zip pouch attached. It was great! I had room for pins, carried my AP, and used it for fast pass. No purse! first time ever for that. We brought ponchos and extra warm weather stuff and popped all that in a locker first thing in the park. We bought the lanyard at the disney store at DTD, we really had to search. they had a lot of lanyards, but only one with the zippered pouch.

Later at MK, we saw a much cheaper (5$ I think) plastic zip pouch on a retractable clip on thingie. at the pin kiosk near Tonys. I liked my lanyard, but DH would have preferred the clip on thing.

It sure was easier than pulling your wallet in and out with for the fast pass.

Thanks for the website for PassPorter. I ordered one this morning. It looks wonderful!

When DL gives away their pin and lanyard set, instead of a plastic card like the one they give (gave?) away at WDW, theirs had a little plastic pouch indtead which was perfect for carrying everything. Like DIsgal suggested. Maybe WDW may try the same thing.
