Wallet says Annual?

I was casually checking the Disney wallet on my phone to make sure it still said DVC-Y, and I noticed it also says Annual. I didn't renew my AP in February, and I can't see an AP for me anywhere online (I purchased individual tickets for the upcoming trip in December). Is it unusual that my wallet would still report that I have an AP?

LOL, mine said Annual for several years after ours lapsed! Now I have one again, so it’s truthful.

My wallet still says AP as well. It lapsed March 1st.

That's why many times when I try to get an AP discount (particularly the limited time bonus discounts) they want to see my ticket in the Disney World app that shows an expiration date, and sometimes an ID as well.

I always thought it was because I have a voucher in my account. I haven't had an active AP for years. I just haven't made plans to go often enough to warrant redeeming the voucher. It's old and has no expiration date.

The inconsistency is crazy. I only had one person ask for my id for ap the whole trip (which im glad because digging in my bag for it wasnt fun lol).

My cousin got asked and she didnt have her id and the cast member straight refused to sell her anything with discount.

Then another server told me its not his money and he doesnt care or some would say dont worry about it, I trust you and not ask

I've had them searching through my phone trying to find the stuff for me. I must look like I really need it because I always end up with a discount and I don't remember ever showing an ID except at Guest Relations.

The AP I have now is from a voucher I bought in 2015. But for discounts I had DVC, plus a couple of Disney credit cards so I always got a discount, just let them do their thing. Before I activated it I had to finish off another ticket and plan some trips in the same year to take the best advantage of the new AP. Started it mid February last year and will do a trip in 3 weeks, one in December and another end of January, so 4 trips total. Still got more no expiry tickets but no more AP vouchers.

That was an absolutely no for me and really not necessary since im resale. I found it intrusive for a stranger to be on my phone, I know the intention was for the wallet, but still I didn't ask for that and dont like people playing on my phone

I set it on the counter and most just said, click on that or whatever and I followed instructions and they eventually saw a list of stuff, I got my discount and moved on. As it stands the app probably needs an update as I haven't opened it in months. And I've forgotten it all as I'm less then interested in retaining the info.
