LEGO currently sell a Wall-E figure. In no way suitable for a 3 1\2 year old. But it's part of a range that is produced for a very limited time period. I'd grab one while you can. Hide it away for a few years and you have a awesome gift for the future. Even if Wall-E is no longer a favourite who doesn't love LEGO
But I don't understand why Disney would think that way. Wall-E is brilliant from beginning to end.
I will say, it was pretty complicated to assemble. It took my fully adult and smart husband three sessions of over an hour each to get it put together. It is super cool though! I just wouldn't recommend it for any kid under the age of 9 or 10 honestly. It is also not a play object in our house and lives on top of our refrigerator because it would be a real pain to re-assemble if something happened to it. Totally cool and totally fun, but does not really fit into the toy category in my opinion. More of a collector's item.
