Walkway From Treehouses to Carriage House?

We just bought a 60 point add-on over the weekend for SSR to be able to book a Treehouse 11 months out. Does anyone know if DVC is planning to have a walkway from the southeast end of the Treehouse area (near the pool) to connect with the Carriage House area? The distance doesn't really look too far on Google Earth.

Here's what the FAQ says on the Disney site... no mention of the buses, but I think that has more to do with the web site being out of date (it usually is) than there being any doubt about the two bus stops and their route to the Springs stop.

How do I travel to the main areas of the resort if I am staying in the Treehouse Villas?
Members and their Guests can either drive to the main areas of the resort or take the pedestrian path. The walking path extends from the Treehouse Villas to the rest of the resort via the Grandstand area.

Of course, the resort map on the offical site is so out of date it still shows Carrousel and Grandstand with dotted lines around them indicating they're under construction. The area where the THV have been built shows as solid trees. No help there!

PhotoBucket.com is blocked on my work PC, so I can't view the picture right now to check, but I believe this post has a picture of the map in the preview center that shows the layout of the tree house villa site. I'm not sure if you can see the paths on it or not.

I walked that path last January, and it's not a far walk. Of course it was closed at then entrance to THV at that time. The other end is between the 2 Grandstand buildings furthest from the Grandstand pool.

It goes through the golf course between the green of one golf hole and the tee of the next golf hole. It's a pleasant little walk.
