Walkway from GF to Poly

Okay, so I try to follow the construction updates as much as possible--but I really thought the walkway would remain open for a while, or we would be notified otherwise.

On the resorts board, I read that it's already closed

Before I sent my planner an email--wanted to see if anyone had an update.

I'm very possibly out of the loop, and apologize if so

I can't answer your question, but I did just send a email to disney. It takes at least 10 days to hear anything. I'm not a bride I have been married 17 years, but we do love to stay at the poly. If we have to take the monorail to the gym to workout its going to be too time consuming(at least the return trip is). We can't work out at the same time because of the kids. We also eat dinner at the gf 3 or 4 nights so thats a real inconvenience. Congrats on your wedding if you find out anything please post.

I was there a couple weeks ago and the walkway was still there. I heard also that there will still be a walkway, they will just be moving it over a little bit. I'm having another site visit next week, so I can let you know about the walkway!

Hey...so I couldn't tell about the walkway from GF to Poly...sorry! I could see the huge wall though! it seems to go pretty far out...worse than I thought it would be! It doesn't look like the photographers will be able to get good pics from right outside the WP!

So we just drove by it on the way to Epcot, and there isn't a wall blocking from the WP to the Poly. There are walls up from GF to WP but I think there is still some sort of walkway.
