Probably the same reaction we got from DS13 when we told him we were going on the 5 night Magic cruise this September, but he had to stay home and go to school. It was NOT pretty!!

He is going on his 6th DCL cruise (7th cruise of his short life!) this April, so he doesn't have much to complain about. He's young...... he'll get over it!!

Ok, I will want a full report from that cruise from you...we're wanting to do that same cruise in 09 with 15 of our family members, and would love to know how it goes!

Geez, me too. We don't even have an upcoming cruise to look forward to. It's depressing!

They've done the 5 night in 07 and obviously in 08, I'm just hoping they still have it for 09. Not sure what I'll do if they don't. I don't have enough DVC points for a 7 day cruise for 15 people!

I think the main reason they have the shortened Magic cruises is because of the repositioning cruises. I know this year the Eastbound repo, coming back from CA, is 15 nights, so they put the 5 night right after it, just before the Magic goes to drydock. The Magic is staying in the Caribbean in 2009, so there probably aren't any 5 night cruises. The schedule, for 2009, is available online, so you could check to be sure.
