Walkover at Disney Springs

I know there is a walkover where you get the buses because we always use it to get to the speedway for even though it is a long walk. I know there is also one by Wolfgang Puck to get to the hotels. I thought I read that there is going to be another one put in and I'm hoping it will connect Disney Springs to the Speedway. Does anyone know if there will be a new walkover and if it is closer to Speedway?

It was not there during our visit last fall. We did the hike to Speedway and found it wasn't worth the effort to save $2 on a drink. We've been getting them at the Coke experience thing.

They don't sell beer at Coke experience.

I don't think they sell specifically beer, but there's alcohol sold at the Coke store

I don’t believe so. The existing pedestrian bridge that crosses BVD is close enough to Speedway that I can’t see it making sense for Disney to do. I also don’t see any evidence of even future construction of one on satellite views. To boot, the area of DS opposite Speedway is nothing but access roads for the bus drop offs and Lime garage with no pedestrian walkways.

Thank you. I thought I read somewhere that they were building a new cross over. I never thought to check a satellite view.

As it happened, I drove through that area today and noticed another pedestrian bridge is under construction, but not at the intersection with the Speedway. It’s further to the east and would be about the same distance from the Speedway as the other one, so probably not any faster.
