Just for reference, a lot of the pic above of the former special events bus loop is now a construction zone for the future IG Skyliner station.

With the friendship boats not in operation to HS would they still be available to take you to the Swan/Dolphin?I'm going to go against the grain and say I hate that walk. It's the longest 20 min of your trip. I don't know what it is about it, but it goes on and on and on and on. I swear they move the park while I'm walking! And on the way back, after a day at HS, well, that mile becomes about 5 miles.
I have no problems at all with the walk from MK to CR or the walk from IG to BW but never do the walk from BW to HS. The boats are faster without question. We usually take it to Swan/Dolphin and hop off and walk from there.
I was hoping there could be a bus from DHS to IG.
Side story, some years ago we were waiting for a boat at IG to go to DHS. Wait seemed really long. A family start talking among themselves that that are going to miss their ADR at ....wait for it......Cape May. At that moment, about a dozen people told them, IT'S RIGHT THERE. YOU CAN WALK IN 5 MIN. They had no idea.
Yes. That would be the termination point with a turn around heading back. With the friendship boats not in operation to HS would they still be available to take you to the Swan/Dolphin?
Ha! My dh was so tired once (had a bad knee, was waiting on surgery) and he made us take the boat to BC for our Cape May dinner. So much longer!
That is tired!!!!!May 7th.Maybe I missed it or maybe it was not said but what is the time frame for the closing?

No, they will not be in this case. I was just mentioning in general, not for a replacement for this particular discussion. Sorry for the confusion.Yes. That would be the termination point with a turn around heading back.
I took the question as to whether the boats will run from Epcot>BW>Y&BC>S/D, and back. Yes, no Friendships will go to or come from the HS segment. No, they will not be in this case. I was just mentioning in general, not for a replacement for this particular discussion. Sorry for the confusion.
But the boats can't get from HS to any resort at all, as they can not go under the bridge period. So that means Swan/Dolphin, BC/YC and BWI docks are cut off.
Oh, ok. I think when PP asked if the boats where not in operation to HS it was about going from Swan/Dolphin to HS. But I may be wrong.I took the question as to whether the boats will run from Epcot>BW>Y&BC>S/D, and back. Yes, no Friendships will go to or come from the HS segment.
BOOOOO was hoping so lol!!No, they will not be in this case. I was just mentioning in general, not for a replacement for this particular discussion. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh wait so I COULD take the boat from Beach club to the Swan Or Dolphin ? if that is the case it might be worth doing to cut the walk down at least a little bit.Oh, ok. I think when PP asked if the boats where not in operation to HS it was about going from Swan/Dolphin to HS. But I may be wrong.
Otherwise, you have it right, they can travel freely around the lake on the Epcot side of the bridge so all the resorts are accessible from Epcot.

The least walking, if involving the boats from BC, would be to take BC to BW. But that would be little savings. Going to the Swan and then walking to HS is a bit more walking than walking from the BW.Oh wait so I COULD take the boat from Beach club to the Swan Or Dolphin ? if that is the case it might be worth doing to cut the walk down at least a little bit.
I would rather not take the bus if I can help it even if it is quicker. i would rather have scenery but do not want to tire the kids out.Yes, and walk from the Swan to the Studios, but you could also take a bus from the Beach Club directly to the Studios.

Guess I better look at a map to see exactly how to get there. The least walking, if involving the boats from BC, would be to take BC to BW. But that would be little savings. Going to the Swan and then walking to HS is a bit more walking than walking from the BW.
