We're staying at the Beach Club in May, and are planning on walking to Hollywood Studios for around 7:30am for Morning EMH. Is it possible to cut through the Boardwalk Hotel lobby and through the pool area that early in a morning? We've got two young children with us, so are just trying to take the shortest route possible, that's all. TIA

Going through the BW lobby is going to be the same or even a longer distance than just going around taking the bridge by the Swan and Dolphin. You can use Google Earth to map the distance using the ruler tab to confirm.

If you decide to walk via BW (for instance, if you’re staying at Beach Club Villas which are near the Epcot IG), no need to go up the stairs to the lobby. Just take the walkway through the breezeway next to Wyland Galleries and then take a left around the clown pool. That will take you to the DHS walkway.

ETA I’m sure @Robo has a map in his excellent thread: https://www.disboards.com/threads/maps-of-wdw-by-robo-65-maps-more.3545729/!

Thanks for the quick replies! We walked on the Epcot side on our last (first) visit to Disney in 2016, and turned left by the Atlantic Dance Hall, but we had the kids in a push-chair back then. I knew it wouldn't reduce the walking by much if we could go through the BWI, but even just a bit would help. Cheers!

Absolutely. When you are on the boardwalk, and get to the boat dock, take a right, after the Village Green. You will get to Wyland Galleries, take a right and go through the tunnel. As you approach the pool area, stay to the left and walk behind the slide and out onto the walkway to DHS.

Looks like on Google Earth there’s some construction at the Studios parking lot. Does the walkway still connect ok?

For some unknown reason, the default image on both Google Earth & Google Maps is over a year old. The entrance reconstruction finished last year. I don't think there's any further construction going on.

If you're running Google Earth on a PC, go into the View menu and enable Historical Imagery. It will display the latest low-res image. You can view the latest high-res image by clicking the left arrow on the timeline once.
