Walking to Epcot from BWV

I know you can walk to Epcot from Boarkwalk Villas. Is that entrance open in the early morning also, if we want to go over to Future World until Epcot officially opens?

Also does anyone know how long the walk is to MGM from BWV?....and where does the walkway lead to? The park entrance? We would be walking over to MGM to catch a bus to the Hoop-de-Doo review.

Yes the International Gateway entrance is open in the morning. You go in and have to turn left into England. There will be CM there to direct you to FW.

The walkway from the BWV to MGM goes from behind the BWV, along the canal to the bus drop off area near the front gate of MGM.

Just got back a week ago from BWV. In traveling to the Hoop De Doo I would reccomend taking a bus from BWV to Magic Kingdom and then taking the boat to the to the Fort Wilderness camp ground. The Pioneer Hall is a very short walk from the boat. Magic Kingdom buses seem to run at least 2 to 1 compared to the other buses at BWV so there is not much of a wait.

The entrance is open before World Showcase opens and you can walk to Future World. Have a great trip!

Wiggles, That is the most wonderful piece of advise you could give someone.

As veterans of ~13 trips staying at Ft. Wilderness Cabins, the best thing you can do to attend the HDD (if you're not staying at Ft Wilderness) is to take the boat to MK and then back to your resort.
