Walking to Epcot from Beach Club

My wife and I will be visiting Walt Disney World in September and will be staying at a Beach Club Villa.
We have plans to go to Epcot on 3 different days for Food and Wine Festival activities.
My question is about entering Epcot. I know there is an entrance near the back of World Showcase from the resorts, but World Showcase does not open until an hour after Future World. I don't want to wait until World Showcase opens to get into the park. Do they allow resort guests staying in Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, etc... to enter via the International Gateway when Future World opens? Or do we need to take a bus to the main entrance of Epcot to get there when it opens?

Yes, you enter through IG and walk through GB to FW. Nothing will be open in GB but it's a nice little walk.

The previous poster is correct. However, are you only going to Epcot for Food and Wine festival activities? If so, those open at 11:00 when World Showcase opens. So, having access to Future World through International Gateway at 9:00 isn't going to make a difference as it relates to engaging in Food and Wine festival activities.

You can use either the walkway or the boat at any time to enter Epcot regardless of whether World Showcase is open.

We will definitely be enjoying Future World before World Showcase opens so these responses are exactly what I was hoping for.
