Walking through the Castle at MK

Can you still walk through the Castle at MK?

You could not walk through a couple of weeks ago due to construction at the castle. I am not sure what it is supposed to be finished.

Yes. (Unless they are getting ready to perform -or are performing- one of the "castle stage shows.")

Been lucky on the past couple trips for construction to have been at a a point we could walk through the castle. Great experience on a MK day! Not a whole lot to see as you walk through, but as you come out the front (always walk from back to front) the scene is pretty spectacular from that vantage point! Hopefully construction is wrapping up in the next 9 months. Lol! There's always construction it seems...

It would be great if they could implement a "side door" for performers so the castle could always remain open to its guests.

We are honored, invited guests of the Magic Kingdom, not a bother that the royal family has to put up with.

The current (performance) closure schedules make it seem like guests are a bother.

Some of the problems with allowing guests to go through the main castle portal during live shows is that guests would:

A. Be distracting passing behind the show (in effect "upstaging" the actors,) a theatrical faux pas.
B. Stop to watch the show from back there. (Requiring a CM to "move them along" which is also annoying and distracting.)

If they put up a wall to cover all of that, it would be an unsightly blocking of the castle facade.
