Hi We are heading into Brooklyn on Sunday for our 29th Annniversary, I want to walk across the Bridge with my family and then go some place yummy for Dinner. Any Recommendations? Also where can we park? On the Street? Is there a lot close by? There are 8 of us so it really is cheaper to drive in. I wanted to walk across the bridge and eat at the Seaport but my DH thought it was too far. He wants to walk across and then back and have dinner in brooklyn. Any advice welcome. Thanks

I have never eaten here, but you could try The River Cafe, it is right next to the bridge. I think it is an really nice restaurant. South Street Seaport isnt too far either. I dont think parking would be difficult. I checked and the restaurant does have a website its www.therivercafe.com. Have fun!

This looks lovely and I have heard of it, however they have a price fixed dinner of $98.00 :scared1: x 8 = $784.00 :scared1: Thanks - Do you think it is an easy walk to the seaport?

Sorry, can't help with the dinner. But, wanted to wish you a happy anniversary, Sunday is also our 29th!!! :thumbsup2

Well then let me wish you a Happy Anniversary as well! What are your plans?

Wow we used to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge... it was during the transit strike, though! Fun!! :thumbsup2

You could always go for Juniors...not a far walk from the Brooklyn end of the bridge...iconic Brooklyn.

Or try Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Brooklyn...yummy!

Wow, I have never been to The River Cafe, but thats alot of money if you have a party of eight. The Seaport would be about a 15 minute walk from the bridge, but you could also try Little Italy. I also think the other suggestions about eating in Brooklyn would be a great idea. Good luck whatever you decide, you have alot of options.

The River Cafe is great but it will be pricey for a group that large. I like to go around Christmas time, it's beautiful decorated inside and it's so pretty on the water at night. Grimaldi's Pizza is supposed to be very yummy. I don't know of anyplace else in that area. I like Cabana's in the South Street Seaport -
