Anyone ever have this?
I had an asthma attack yesterday and the weezing wouldn't go away. So this morning I went to urgent care and they said it was good I came in for the asthma cause I have walking pneumonia and that probably triggered the asthma attack.

Yes had it several times. Once as a child, twice as a teen ager. Feels like someone placed a ton of bricks on your chest. Funny though I wasn't too bad during the day but the minute the sun went down - look out. I was down for the count.

Oh, yeah.

I've had it twice this year, and it seems to be going around. Others have had it, too.

herc.

I had it in 2006. For about a month my upper back was just killing me when I sat or stood. My only relief was lying down. I thought I was developing back problems - like osteoporosis.

It wasn't until I coughed up lots of blood (while at a wedding out of town) that I got diagnosed. I went to ER. I had to take antibiotics for months - really almost a year.

I never felt "sick" - and believe me I've been hospitalized for weeks with non-walking pneumonia so I know what that feels like. Except for my back hurting (and one instance of the cough) my only symptom was acute fatigue.

My DD had it in November. She complained of not feeling well, and didn't want to go to school. She wasn't up at night coughing or blowing her nose, didn't have a fever. I told her she just had a cold, and made her go to school all week. On Thursday, the school nurse sent her home. But I was annoyed because she STILL had no real symptoms! No fever, nothing.

When I got her home that day, I said, "What is your main complaint?" And she said, "I'm so tired, I can hardly keep my head up!" It was then that I noticed that her glands were a bit swollen, and I immediately thought she had mono!

So I took her in, and damn if she didn't have walking pneumonia.

And the worst mommy of the year award went to.......ME!

My sis had it a million years ago when she was 19. I just remember her being soooo sick, yet not sick enough to be hospitalized. She would say she wished it would get up and walk away.

Take care of yourself.
