Walking on Vineland Avenue

I will be staying at the SpringHill Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Marriott Village (on Vineland Avenue) for a conference later this month. I just noticed that the Orlando Premium Outlets is about 1/3 mile away (also on Vineland). Is Vineland a walkable street? The distance is definitely no problem, but I was unsure of the safeness of the walk.

Yes, walking towards the outlets from springhill suites there is a sidewalk on the right hand side.

We stayed at Springhill last year and walked to the Outlets a few times, there is a sidewalk and it took us around 15 minutesto get there, quite a nice walk as well and they were in process of building a few smaller shops on the route. We did also get a taxi back when we had a lot of shopping and it appeared to be a fixed rate of $5 each time.
