Walking in August??

I've read a lot about the benefit of being able to walk to Epcot from the BC. Has anyone done this walk in the heat of August?? Was it still manageable?

We did in the evening after a dinner at Cape May. It was fine. It's not that far--IIRC 5 minutes, and that's if you stroll.

It's not a long walk. We did the walk from BW to Epcot many times on our August 2007 trip. Really it depends on how you deal with the heat. You can always stop at the store just inside the gate to cool down.

It's like 5 minutes from the back door of the Beach Club to the entrance of Epcot. It's nothing at all.

It's really quite a short walk, and certainly no more than you will be doing in Epcot. It is shady as soon as you get to the park entrance.
