Walking from the Boardwalk to the Beach Club?

Can you walk from the Boardwalk to the Beach Club? Or would we have to drive? We are staying at the Boardwalk in January and would like to use the Beach Club Club for our son so we could have a night out. Just wondering if we could walk there to and from after we have had dinner. Thanks in advance for your help and also if anyone could tell me about the Beach Club for kids service and how it is and what do they do with the children. I do not want him getting bored.

You can absolutely walk- maybe ten minutes at a leisurely pace from the BW lobby to the BC lobby. You can walk either way around the lagoon- I think each way is about the same distance. Do not even think about a cab ride for this.

You can also take a very short boat ride over. I believe it goes to EPcot also so I do not know if you would go to Epcot then BC or BC then Epcot. But it is very easy to get to.
