Walking from Portofino Bay to Parks?

I remember seeing a map somewhere showing a faster way to walk from Portofino Bay to the parks? Is it still around somewhere? ALso does anyone know about how long the walk takes? We are staying there Jan 4-6th, and I am wondering how busy the boats will be in the morning and if walking would be faster.

The walk takes about 7 minutes to Universal and about 10 to IOA walking at a good speed.

I would request west wing, so you are really close to the boat dock.

Make sure you also request a newly renovated room. They are beautiful and the mattress comforter and pillows are seriously so comfortable. Also some of the rooms are pet friendly and while i love my dog the thought of staying in a bed where a Bunch of other animals may have laid on kinda grosses me out. so thats something else to consider requesting as well. We stayed at portofino in October we walked to the parks not using the shortcut and didn't find it to be overly long. Sometimes we even did the rickshaw when we missed the boat it's free but the riders work on tips
