Walking from Peacock suites, Toy Story shuttle?

We are staying for the first time at the Peacock suites with our timeshare points. Has anyone walked regularly from there? Is it shorter to walk to the toy story lot and take the shuttle? If so is there a side enterance that makes it shorter than walking all the way out to the front? I would appreciate any advise. We have young kids so the walk would be pretty long for them I think.
Thanks for your help!

It is not close enough to walk. I have stayed there twice. The ART picks up right in front. That would be your best bet.

Hubby and I stayed there a while ago (like 7 ish years) on our first Disney trip together- we walked, our room was really close to the entrance. I don't remember it being that far. If you were pushing them in a stroller I'm sure it would be fine, but it might be a bit far for them to walk

We stayed at the Peacock last November for a 6 night stay with 5 days in the parks. We ended up walking both directions every day, with no mid day break bc my hubby didn't want to have to deal with breaking down the stroller to get on the ART. it was doable, but veerrrry long. The Toy story lot is not too far, we considered that, but again DH didn't want to deal with the stroller. I don't know about a side entrance to the lot.

At the time the kids were 3years and 4 months. I wore the 4 month in a carrier and the 3 year old rode in the stroller.

If your kids arent stroller age I would just ride the ART.

I definitely would not have been happy about the prospect of walking all the way to the hotel after full days at the parks, where we walked a good ten-twelve miles a day, though sometimes waiting for the tram to M&F made me wonder about that.

We are staying at Peacock Inn April 1st to 8th and was wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking

It was a looooong walk back, but oddly enough this was the first trip that neither DH nor I had issues with our legs/feet hurting. This was the furthest we've ever stayed and the longest (5 FULL days in the parks, plus on the 6th day we walked to PPH (and back) for Surf's Up before heading back to the airport!) I think my awesome shoes (Ryka sneakers and some Tommy Bahama flip flops that were heavenly) helped me, and for DH he had prepared by walking a lot on the treadmill in the months leading up to the trip, and on all the walks to & from the hotel he wore his Nike sandals that massage the feet as you walk. We actually considered staying there again this next trip to save $$, but they were booked up for the timeshare swap, so we are staying slightly closer this time, at the La Quinta. We've also stayed at the Residence Inn on S Clementine before (only a 3 day trip that time).

Try it and see. We took the Toy Story shuttle back once. Our hotel was on Katella and it was a bummer to watch it go past our place and then still have quite a walk back. (We had to cross at the light due to it being a busy road so no shortcuts for us). We decided we could have been back to the Hotel faster by just walking.

Ditto on the long walk camp. We bought ART passes in the lobby of the Peacock and never had a problem with breakdowns. We were in the parks all day and it was nice knowing we didn't have to hoof it that far.
