what's the best way to get from the Camelot Inn on Harbor (right across the entrance to DL) to PPH? i'm thinking of doing the Lilo and Stitch breakfast...but i'm thinking it'll be quite the hike... :confused3

You could always take a cab ~ we stayed @ HoJo this past Dec. for our 1st 2 nights, our last night we stayed at PP ~ I had a taxi take us and our luggage from HoJo to PP.

Because I/we have done long walks like that before, on park days, we would think about catching a cab.

But walking isn't that awful, so if you want to walk, just walk like you're going to the parks. Go through bag check (if your PS is really early the bag check people might not even be there and in that case just walk on through), walk across the esplanade, and go out the other side of bag check into DTD.

Walk through DTD until Sephora on the left and Haagen Dasz on the right.

At this point you have a choice. Keep walking through to see all of DTD, go past DLH, behind the theater, and along the pathways to PPH which you will enter in the back and find the restaurant.

Or turn into the GCH entrance immediately after Sephora, walk along the concrete path. Go in the automatic doors, turn left, walk along the corridor. Go up into the lobby of the GCH, turn right, go out the big doors of the GCH. Once you're outside, turn left, you'll see the PPH...walk along the sidewalk to the crosswalk, cross over, there you are. Enter, find restaurant, enjoy the pineapple scones!

thanks for the feedback. i also thought of driving since we'll have a rental car and our DDs' carseats will be in there. but i wasn't sure about parking at the hotel. the cab sounds like a good idea, but i have a 1year old DD, so i don't think that'll work in the cab. i haven't called to make a PS yet, but i will do so soon (including PSs for Goofy's and Ariel's).

I was doing a search on goofys kitchen the other day and one post I read stated it you drive your car over, let the parking attendant know you are dining at Goofys and you can valet park for free. Now, I did not pay attention to the date of the post and I know you are asking about a PP hotel, but might be something to look into with the car seat issue.
