Over to Saratoga Springs....isn't there a walkway directly from the island building, across the street and over that bridge over to SS? I swear I saw people doing that a couple years ago when I was there, but can't find it on maps....

Pretty sure there are no crosswalks and last time we stayed there several times as we were walking to DS bridge people tried to do that and security that is on the DS side yelled at them to go back and cross at the pedestrian bridge. Said no crossing the roads were allowed, only on bridge.

Yes. Disney has always been strict on walking near their roadways. Security takes it seriously. At the HBV parking entrance Saratoga is across the road but there are no crosswalks or sidewalks - just the drive to security booth. At the Islands entrance it is multiple lanes, median, cones and usually security standing on DS side. You are expected to go to the pedestrian bridge and cross over to Disney Springs.

Technically unless you are a guest at Saratoga or have a dining reservation you aren’t supposed to be going to the resort.

You can walk over to the resort, there's nothing stopping you from walking around, visiting the resort gift shop, seeing the lobby, eating at Artist Palette, or seeing what the spa is all about. Disney wants you to view the resort, see the amenities, and maybe buy into DVC. As long as you're respectful, there's no difference visiting Saratoga than any other resort.

No there is nothing stopping one from walking into the resort from Disney Springs. And yes Disney has been all about welcoming visitors except post shut down they have been much more strict about access to all resorts for non-guests. I believe if you wish to visit the DVC office you must have an appointment. You can not drive on the property without an ADR. While it gets mentioned here as an option if need be, Disney Springs guests using Saratoga's buses is an imposition post shut down, and Disney Springs guests should respect the situation and use their own transportation.

The original question was about accessing Saratoga via "jaywalking" and Disney does not allow that.

I understand the OP's original comment regarding walking from the Hilton property to SS. My apologies if I didn't word my comment to reflect that, I was just referring to your comment about not supposed to be going to the resort. I live here in town and have visited the resorts without issue (for example, to eat without an ADR or visit the gift shop during the holidays or such) when leaving from the DS buses since re-opening in the summer of 2020 and had no issue. But yes, to park at the resort, they are more strict now requiring ADRs.

Thank you.... I was referring to a visit over there,I enjoy walking the various resort grounds to explore. Since my last visit I stayed at SS,and saw people walking back and forth I was wondering how it was done IRL.
