Does the walking path from BC to studios go past YC and then across Crescent Lake, and then to the right?

When walking from the Beach Club - Hollywood Studios you can either go right and walk past the Yacht Club or go left and walk past the Boardwalk. However the Beach Club is also the farthest resort to Hollywood Studios in terms of walking distance, so at least you still have the boat which goes there. Now after you would get on the boat from the Yacht Club/Beach Club dock it stops at the Swan/Dolphin dock and then goes to Hollywood Studios.

You don't turn right. You just keep going straight: http://www.stitchkingdom.com/maps/index.php?showmap=13

Actually, if you leave BC, go past YC and then over the lake, then you are turning left! Going straight will take you to the S/D. So, as you leave the YC area, and go up the slope and over the bridge, you will turn left, into BW, just before heading up and over the second bridge that takes you to S/D. As you enter the BW area, you will immediately see the walkway to DHS..it runs right beside the canal....this is where you are going to go to the right. So, left off the bridge and an almost immediate right to go beside the canal.

Just to further confuse the issue; when we walk from BC to the Studio we prefer to head left toward BW rather right than past YC. When we get to BW, we cut through the courtyard/pool area rather than walking all the way down to the Atlantic Dance Club end which saves a bunch of steps.

It's easiest to walk towards the Boardwalk and when you get to the courtyard area in the Boardwalk cut through the hallway with the bathrooms next to the Wyland Gallery, this hallway leads to the Luna Park pool take the walkway by the pool area on the other side of the pool you'll see the walkway to DHS go left on it towards the Buena Vista Drive overpass, when you go under the overpass on the other side you'll see DHS.

This might help you visualize the paths and your options.
It's almost the exact same distance whether you turn right or left when leaving the BC.

I agree with the BW route. Its always fun to walk down the boardwalk on the way to the Studios!

I think if you're starting down by the quiet pool end of the BC that's true. If you're leaving through the main lobby, however, it's essentially a toss up.
Probably so. It may just seem to be shorter when you are able to cut through over the village green and out through the pool area though.

This past December when I was staying at the Boardwalk Inn I went exactly the way you mentioned when going to there and when I walked back from there.
