Walking from any of the 3 hotels??

Can you walk to the parks from any of the three hotels? We walked very easily from the HRH last year...we're booked for RPR this time....can we still "walk" it??

HRH is definitely the closest to US. We stayed there last time and it was soooooo convenient. We have also stayed at RPR and it is walkable as well. There is a nice path that follows the water and dumps you out a city walk - close to IOA. Great place for my Mom to get her margarita! We liked the walk to the park on most days - but we took the boat back if we were really tired!

This year we are at PBH - I heard that is the longest.

When you walk from RPR, you end up right at "The Porch of Indecision" at Margaritaville in CW.

RPR is closer to IOA. We've stayed at all three hotels and prefer walking anyway. The walkways are so nice and sometimes even cooler! The farthest, of course, was from PBH - but we still never took the boat.

We've stayed at all three hotels at Universal and we almost always walk. At Portofino Bay, ff the water taxi is available, we take it, if not, we walk.

RPR is a shorter walk than Portofino Bay and the walk is actually quite nice.

that is good to know. my family like the walks and we were worried that PBH was too far. RPR walk is our favorite.

If its cool in the evening I like to walk to all the hotels there. Its a nice little loop from RPR past the parks and Citywalk, then by, or through, HRH on to PBH and back.

We walked quite a bit from PBH to both IoA and USO - depending on how fast we were walking we usually made it in about 15 / 20 minutes. A couple of times over Memorial Day weekend we beat the boat from Citywalk back to PBH.

It's a lovely shaded, landscaped pathway along the canal and is especially romantic in the evenings.

I've clocked the walk from the HRH and the RPR.
HRH - 5 minutes, closest.
RPR - 7 minutes, slightly farther because the path winds around the waterway.
PBH - Staying there in a couple weeks. I know it's about 10 minutes from the HRH.

The walk from the HRH will spoil you. On my visit a few years ago, I went back and forth many times.

The RPR walk was our favorite. It was short, quick, and fun to walk and look around at the flowers and fish.

When we stayed at RPR, we only used the water taxi twice. We found the walkway to be quicker than waiting for a boat.
