Walking from 1500 or 2000

How far is the walk from loops 1500 and 2000 to the Marina/Settlement area?

Is is quicker to walk or wait for the bus?

if i remember correctly, will want to use buses but i may be wrong.

I feel you could craw faster that the bus system. Just my 2 cents. Some people must have better luck with the system than I do. I always take my Bikes.

Its about a mile+ walk, we have always used the bus and have had good luck..

I'd say 1500 is 1/2 mile and 2000 is 2/3 or 3/4 mile. You could start walking and if a bus came by while you were passing a stop, hop on.

From those locations, ride the bus or take a bike. Years ago, (before the days of golf carts on property) the bus system was slow and crowded and sometimes you could get where you were going faster by walking. These days, since so many people rent carts, you will find that the buses are mostly empty and fairly consistent. You might wait 10 minutes for a bus, but most of the time it isn't that bad and when it does come you have a "private" chariot. Well...at least as private as anything at Disney gets. Of course I'm talking about the internal bus system for FW, the buses that run from the depot to the other areas of WDW...that's another issue and we do typically drive.
