Walking Distance??????

Hi all

We plan to have dinner at one of the Boardwalk restaurants, then walk to epcot for the illuminations.

How long is the walk?

NOt far at all. You head down a path that runs alonghte water and before you know it, you see the gate. Maybe it's a quarter mile? That's a wild guess, but the walk is no more than 5 minutes and it's very scenic. You come out near England.

Also you don't have to walk unless you want to you can take the boat from there to the internationa gateway.

Yes, you can take the boat, but the stroll along the lake is very do-able and a very lovely way to walk off some dinner and see the sights and smell the smells from the Boardwalk. It's a very romantic stroll, walking hand in hand with that someone special!!!

The walk is very nice, but would be long if you had kids with you...

My kids are OK with that walk because there is stuff to look at... One time my DH and daughter stayed behind at Epcot, son and I were tired. They met us back at the room later, and it started pouring. They were drenched by the time they got to our room at Beach Club Villas. So the walk "is long enough to soak you if it's raining!"
