Walking Distance???

Hello! I am new to the boards so I apologize if this question has already been asked! I am planning a trip for February 2009!!! Are any of the resorts within walking distances of the parks? I can't tell by looking at the map. For example, it looks like you could walk to Epcot from the CBR. THANKS!!!

Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk are all within walking distance to Epcot and Disney Studios (the walk to DS is a little further).

Contemporary is in walking distance to Magic Kingdom.

When you look at the map, yes the CBR could be within walking distance, unfortunately there are no walkways and you would be walking on heavily travelled roads.

As the other poster indicated there are walkways provided for the BC/YC, BWI the Swan and the Dolphin to Epcot and DHS. You can walk to the MK from the CR. You can walk from the Poly to the TTC, and you can walk from the GF to the Poly. But other than that there are no sidewalks or walk ways.

You can't walk Epcot from CBR. It looks close on the map, but you can't do it. Even if you wanted to walk what are basically highways, Disney wouldn't let you. They'd pick you up. I don't know what they'd do with you though! Maybe take you there, maybe take you back to the hotel...I just don't know.
