Walking distance SS to DD and DD to Crossroads

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone new the walking distance from Saratoga Springs Congress park area to Downtown Disney and also the walking distance from Downtown Disney to the Crossroads plaza? I tried to use mapquest but I have a feeling it's not very accurate. It gave me over a mile for SS to DD and over 3 miles for DD to Crossroads. I've only driven it before but it didn't seem that far. I'm not getting a car for my Oct. trip and I have a free morning where I thought I may take the bus to SS in the early morning and do some walking until the stores open. I'll need to pre-burn the calories I'll be consuming at the Epcot F&W festival.

I've never measured it but it's not a very long walk at all from Congress Park to DD maybe 1/4 mile it's less than 10 minutes at a leisurely pace. From DD to Cross Roads I'd say 1/2 mile.

SS to DTD is about 10 minutes but the walk down to Crossroads is about 1.2 to 1.5 miles or 20 minutes. it'll take another 5 minutes to get to the supermarket at the back of the mall

Thank you both for the replies. I was using Cross Roads as just an estimate. I'd actually be taking a left at the intersection because I know there's a Dunkin Doughnuts down the street just a little bit and I'm a psycho New Englander. I figured if I was going to walk a few miles to burn some extra calories I could at least get a cup of Dunkins.

I'm staying at the Contemporay so I thought I'd walk to the bus stop at the MK and grab the bus to SS then walk from there to Dunkins and back to DD to do some shopping and then bus it back to the Contemporary. I'm an early riser and I've got until 1:30 to kill until my friend gets out of her conference.
