Walking between loops 200 and 300

I will be making my first trip to FW this June. I will be staying in loop 300 and I have a friend who will be on loop 200. If we are assigned sites that are closest to each other on these loops, is it possible to walk through the woods to get to each other's campsites. Thanks for the help.
