Anyone have any thoughts on being able to walk up to a restaurant in the parks on these days and get in?? If something shows online as not being available, does that mean they don't leave any openings at all for walk ups? 50's Prime Time Cafe, for example?
Thanks!

there is always a slight possibility, but I wouldn't count on it. I have been to WDW several times at this same time frame, and if dining says no ressies available, then there are no ressies available. What you could do is make a "back up" ressie in the same park so that if you desire a TS you have one. then go to the place you want as walk up and if available, call dining and cancel the existing ressie. That way, you have TS and you are still canceling the one you aren't using.

This is exactly the thought I had...so I have done that, so at least I have a sit down ressie, even if it isn't my first choice.
Thanks!

I wouldn't count on it as well. When we were there last week people were being turned away or having over a 2 hour wait some places.
Also in the parks I saw signs near the entrances saying "no Table Service available at this time, please use our quick service places.....(named what restaurants were there)" We saw the signs posted around 3pm, so they weren't even taking names at that time.

We were there from 12/1 - 12/6 and the more popular restaurants were turning people away.
