walk ups at T-Rex

I have an adr at T-Rex on Sunday the 24th for 6 people. I found out today that my brother and his family will be joining us that day which adds 6 more people to our group. Of course there is nothing available when I checked on line. Do you think I will have better luck calling them? What would happen if we just showed up with 6 more people? The good sister in me says "just give up your reservation and have dinner with your brother", but my 10 year old son was really looking forward to T-Rex. Any suggestions?

We were there back on July 4 night and walked up and got in...had to wait a little while but not too bad....it's worth it IMO! You could always say you needed to add a few more....try calling them maybe?

you will most likely have better luck. There have been several posters on this board that have reported not being able to get a reservation through Dinsey and then getting one through the restaurant. I called for our last before Disney started taking ADRs for T0Rex and had no problem getting the time I wanted.

For walk-ups, we went on a Monday night about 6:00 PM in June. When we went in the wait was about 15 minutes. (We didn't wait that long because we had a PS already.) When we cam out I would guess it was at least 30 minutes.

Disney only holds a handful of tables on a non-owned Disney restaurant. You need to call them directly.

Also, on a weekend, you definately need a reservation, or upgrade your existing one. The locals use DTD on the weekends and parking is free, plus you can take the water taxi from OKW, SSR, POFQ, and POR. I have seen waits up to two hours on a weekend.

yes, call. I tried to make ADR for 6 the other day and there was nothing online accept for 3pm. I called and had no problem.
