I have been trying every day to possibly get reservations for CRT and Le Cellier. Has anyone had walk up success? Should we go right when we get there and ask for availability that day or wait until we want to eat and then ask?

It is just 2 adults and we are flexible with eating times.

Thanks!

it would depend on when you are going, but I'd say the chances of getting a walkup seating for these, the most popular 2 restaurants in the world, are very slim. I'd just keep trying to get that ADR!

Keep trying to get an ADR. I agree that it's a slim chance of getting a walk in. However, your best chance for a walk in would be to arrive at the podium about 20-30 minutes before the seating begins for the meal you are trying to get. Example....you want dinner and that seating starts at 4pm, so you arrive at 3:30.

We once got into CRT by heading straight over at rope drop during morning EMH. You might try that and good luck!

With your flexibility and only 2 adults, your chances are great, I'd say! From what I have read here, you stand a fair chance at walk-up.;)

We have had walk up success at Le Cellier. We went right when they opened for dinner service.

We have been able to get in at CRT 3 times at LUNCH for 2 people. ALL in late Aug. or Sept. (not sure when you are going). I would check when the lunchtime starts and see if there is anything available.
We have NEVER been able to get into LeCellier without a ressie. It may be easier though to get in at DINNER starting in March when it goes to 2 credits on the DDP.

It doesn't hurt to try. We were in Epcot the Saturday after Easter and decided to call to see what we could get. I can't remember now if they transferred me or gave me a number to call, but we spoke to someone at Le Cellier and they told me "We can seat you if you come now." This was 11:00ish and we had 3 in our party.:goodvibes

I have no experience with CRT, but for Le Cellier, I would say keep trying for an ADR. :thumbsup2 That's what I do and only one time did not get a ressie. And that time we went to Le Cellier right before lunch time and were able to be seated. Interestingly enough, when we were there the first week of December last year, we had lunch ressies and the place was half empty (or was that half full?:lmao:). Our server said that so many people are no shows for their ressies it left so many tables open. That's the main reason they are going to signature for dinner according to her.

We will be there Feb 28-Mar 2, so pretty soon. I will keep trying for the reservations, but will also just give it a whirl the day of.

Thanks everyone!

Last February when we were at MK, we had tried to get resv. but never could. One day it rained pretty hard for about 20 minutes. Most people left the park but We waited until it was over, then we rode the bus back to OKW, changed clothes and called the res. line to see if they had anything open at CRT. They said no, we'd never get a resv or seat for anytime in the next couple of weeks. We went back to MK, walked up to CRT and asked if there was any chance of us getting a table? She said for how many? I said 4 and she said sure come right in and we walked in, had our pics taken with Cinderella, and walked straight to a table. My DD even got a birthday cake because they saw her birthday button.

Keep trying. I was able to get ADRs for both places for our upcoming trip...at less than 40 days out. It was pure luck.

We have had walk up success at Le Cellier. We went right when they opened for dinner service.

This was Pakey's day to win the Powerball, but used the good luck on a walk-up at LC. ;) Stories such as this are few and far between:earsboy:

I did once I hade to wait 40 minutes but it was wroth the wait Luv their stakes it so yummy

You should have a good chance for walk up, from what I understand they only book out a certain percentage of tables to ADR. Your best bet would be to go before the lunch or dinner seating begins.

Happy planning! :goodvibes

Actually, they over book by a certain percentage. They also only release a certain number of tables per day at the 180 day point. There does come a point where all tables have been released and the restaurant can/will be fully booked and then some.

I have had excellent success getting seated as a walk-up. One time was during free dining when all the TS resturants at MK were sold out. However, every time has been at lunchtime, and I've gone right at the opening time of the resturant. If you're comfortable with sit-down dining at around 11:30am (it's a great idea if you don't eat much for breakfast, as I don't), you should be OK. I've never even tried at dinner time.

We've had some success. When we've been successful, we've either been there right when they begin seating or during a typical lull in dining times.

We have gotten a walk-in at Le Cellier, but it was a very rainy day. It had been pouring down all day and few people wanted to venture back out for dinner.

What times are the official start of lunch and dinner?

11:30 and 4:30?

It varies with the resturant. 50s Prime Time is 11:00 (or at least was in October), Rose and Crown and Crystal Palace-11:30. I think Teppen Ado was 12:00, don't remember the others. Oh, Sanaa-12:00, I think.
