Walk up or day of ADR?

I'd really love to have dinner at Akershus, and made an ADR months ago, but our plans changed recently, and now we won't be arriving until a few days after, so I had to cancel it. And now, of course, there are no ADR's available on any of the 3 days we'll be there later this month.

Do they hold some reservations for walk up? Or for closer to the date? Can anyone advise me? I feel like a newby!!

They do not hold back spots for walkups at Disney-operated restaurants like Akershus. All you can do is hope that someone cancels on the dates you want, or give a shot at a walkup (understanding that you could be turned away or given a long wait.)
