Walk up list option for Sci Fi?

I see on the app there is an option for getting on the walk up list. Has anyone one done this and how did it go?

Was back in 2019 before covid, but we did the walk up list for lunch. As I recall, the place next door was closed for remodeling and we didn't see many other restaurant choices in that area of the park which appealed to us. Didn't have to wait very long. We sat at one of those regular tables near the back. Food was very average and those old movie clips won't mean much if you are under the age of 50. Interior to us seemed old and in need of a remodel. Not anyplace we would choose to eat at again. The walk up list worked fine for lunch, can't say if it does/doesn't work that way for dinner or if there have been any changes related to covid.

I don’t know anything about the walk up list, it must be fairly new. We were there in early June and didn’t see that option on the app but maybe I missed it. We had lunch at Sci Fi twice and watched many families turned away because they didn’t have an ADR.

It goes about the same as getting a ROTR BG. In other words, act fast or forget it, and hope for good luck
